Hi, I’m dR. ROBLEDO.
My name is Dr. Elizabeth Robledo, I am a 1st-generation Mexican-American Acupuncturist and Herbalist. I practice Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine In-person (LA, IE, & OC) and virtually via Telemedicine appointments. I work with patients from all walks of life and specialize in Holistic treatment for dermatological, autoimmune conditions, mental-emotional disorders, and pain management. Spanish is my first language as a child of Mexican Immigrants. Growing up there was always a natural remedy at home, meaning that holistic living was a part of our everyday life. My paternal grandpa was known for helping the people of his rancho with the use of herbs and my maternal great-grandmother was a curandera (healer)/ partera (midwife)/ hierbera (herbalist) who helped her community in Michoacán, Mexico as a healer. Helping others via traditional and natural medicine has been alive in my lineage and continues through me.

MY BACKROUND
I received my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a Concentration in Nutrition in 2018.
As a plant lover the practice of herbalism comes naturally to me, I have a specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine Dermatology from the great Dr. Mazin Al Khafaji's Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine Dermatology, a 1+ year long course focused on various dermatological conditions and their treatment with Herbal Medicine. As a practitioner who passed the Dermatology Exam I was accepted into the International Registry of Traditional Medicine Dermatology. I am also certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling.
Throughout my Postgraduate education I have also found additional interests in the areas of Functional Medicine, Craniosacral Therapy, and Esoteric Acupuncture. I am continuously learning and adding these specializations to my treatment offerings.

My goals as a practitioner are to help improve my patient's current conditions and help them prevent disease via education, lifestyle, herbal, and traditional recommendations.
